Some believe that health can be determined by the energy flowing through the body (or not flowing due to blockage). Free flow of energy provides our bodies with what they need to function optimally. Physical or psychic problems can cause this energy flow to become blocked.
The Chakras are the body's energy centers. Each has a special duty and each vibrates at a particular frequency which corresponds to the vibrations of specific gemstones and colors. Using the appropriate gemstone in conjunction with the chakras is said to have a particularly powerful healing effect.
