About our Jewelry
We are always on the lookout for unusual objects or pendants for our pieces. Some are vintage; some are antique reproductions. Some we create ourselves; some are from other artisans.
Carved gems & bone, intarsia, enamel, cloisonne, cast sterling, gold, pewter, porcelain and ceramic are just some of the possibilites. Combined with precious and semi-precious gemstones like amber, amethyst, carnelian, jade, lapis, tourmaline, turquoise and much more
Each piece of jewelry is unique and one of a kind. When we say handmade, we mean that literally: made by our own hands. We hope that our offerings will speak to your heart and encourage you to wear your values.
A few words from the designer
I've been designing and creating one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces since 1991 under the business name Bittersweet Ridge. World Peace Jewelry is an off-shoot of that business. Bittersweet Ridge designs have been sold through wholesale accounts to shops and galleries throughout the world, as well as to private clients.
They say to do what you love and I think that joy shows in my work. I'm a collector of many things, especially vintage or unusual objects I can incorporate into my designs. I believe in the healing properties of gemstones and enjoy working with materials from the natural world. Each piece of jewelry is unique and handmade the old fashioned way... one by one. I very rarely do any production work (exact duplicates).
